Most vacation accommodations have rules of “don’t do this or that.” We have a different attitude because you are our guest. Our family history of over 60 years of experience has taught us how to be good hosts. Our guests return for a weekend or week; some for a month stay or longer in winter; some have stayed at Popp’s for over 40 years; and some come back with their children as the next generation with their fond childhood memories. We know how a good guest enjoys Popp’s Motel and want you to make the list.

Arrive with the number of people in your party that you have requested. Only registered guests are allowed to be on property and use our facility. This provides peace and privacy for everyone.
Smoking is permitted only OUTSIDE the rooms. Smoking areas and ashtrays are provided for your use.
Observe our NO PETS policy. Please do not feed our pets (or our children} without asking us. Feel free to observe or ask us if you can help.
Our eco policies help us save the environment and keep expenses reasonable. We have blue bins for cans, bottles, and plastics. Use kitchen or outside trash cans for garbage. Hang towels you intend to reuse and put towels to be laundered on the bathroom floor. Dish soap and dish drainers are provided, so you can wash your own dishes.
If something is broken, not working, or missing, please let us know so we can repair or replace it. Guests are responsible for damages and missing items.
Our housekeeper will make beds, take out garbage, replenish supplies, and sweep floors. If you do not require her service, please use the DO NOT DISTURB door hanger. Please take your room key with you during your stay as she will lock your door after her service.
Keep the beach and dock area clean. If you use a barbecue grill, please clean up afterwards for the next guest. We usually have charcoal and lighter fluid available. Just ask and return supplies to the office.
Please keep your activities quiet after sunset. Our children and guests can use a good night’s sleep. Be aware that sounds travel far over water.
We appreciate the time you take to fill out our comment cards. We strive to improve our rooms and service continually. We appreciate a smile, thank you, or gratuity and provide a pink envelope for your generosity.
